IP CONNECTIVITY

Any system that can make use of the existing IP infrastructure is cheaper, and reduces disruption during installation. With the wide spread use of Ethernet for LANs & WANs, using standard connection methods have made it possible to connect access control and other equipment.

SOLID STATE LOCK DRIVE

The new controllers have an extra switch that allows for new lock driving modes that cut relay contact wear and increase reliability.

FULLY DISTRIBUTED INTELLIGENCE

The P4 Controller is designed to be programmed both stand alone and from a PC. The built-in keyboard gives access to all the  menu functions. This means the controller can be installed and operational even before the network and PC are available. In addition, there is no dependence on any central hardware for operation. If the network cable is cut or the controlling PC is not available, all the controllers will continue to work.

SCALABLE

A P4 system will efficiently and cost effectively service the smallest single door application. The system architecture allows it to be expanded without any major new equipment. This means that P4 will not only suit large and small systems but also allow small system to grow with your needs.

FLEXI CARDS

No need for site codes. Card packs and site codes can still be used to manage cards effectively but the hardware is flexible and fast enough not to need them.

WIDE RANGE OF READER TECHNOLOGY

You are free to choose the card and reader type: ‘Mag Stripe’, ‘Bar Code’, ‘Proximity’, and ‘Biometric’. P4 controller will interface to most standard reader technologies and has the ability to define custom formats through the advanced engineers menu & Doors Enterprise software. Each controller has two reader inputs, independently programmable so mixed technologies and format can be used.

TIME ZONES

255 time zone windows can be given periods of ‘free vend’ to a door or restrict access to an access level based on time of day and week.
