Through systems with a speech dialler that call you or a Digicomm, which calls a central station........

To fully monitored systems using either the Redcare network or the Dualcomm Plus system. As well as monitoring the alarm, these systems monitor the connection between the alarm panel and the central station. In the event of anyone attacking the communications path, a signal is generated to alert the central station.

Securasound uses the services of a central station called Southern Monitoring Services Ltd,  to monitor all our alarm systems.

Perimeter Protection Systems

We can also proved alarm systems for those customers who have 24 hour guards in place. These types of intruder alarm often have different requirements to conventional systems.

Accreditation.

Securasound is accredited by the SSAIB the Security Services Alarm Inspection Board one of only two such organisations in the country.

SSAIB Accreditation means:

• All our engineers have to be Security checked
• All our engineers have to be Police National Computer checked
• All our installations have to be installed to the appropriate code of practice.
• We have to have high levels of insurance cover
• Our work is audited

If you want or need  to have Police Response to your Alarm it must be installed by either a SSAIB or NIS registered company. NB Alarm systems can no longer be connected to a Police Station they must go to a Central Station who can then contact the Police.

If your insurance company requires you to have an Alarm then normally they too require an accredited company, many will offer a discount.
