Security Door Chain
to the rescue

In an emergency situation the unique Security Door Chain with external release provides the perfect solution when the need arises to gain immediate access to a property. Disengaging the chain is achieved by means of a key release via an externally fitted standard rim cylinder.

In normal use the stylish and easy to install Security Door Chain operates like any conventional security door chain. Once fitted to the inside of the door the unit features a simple to use push button mechanism, which either secures or disengages the strong 100mm steel chain. The internal units locking mechanism is linked through the door to a standard external rim cylinder. When standing outside the door, a simple rotation of the key in the rim cylinder will release the internal door chain and allow access.

The Security Door Chain is designed to provide the same levels of security as a conventional door chain, with the additional benefit of an emergency override if required. Where the door is also fitted with a night latch, the cylinders can be keyed alike, allowing for a single dedicated key to operate both devices.
