The Bell Telephone (BSTL) 801PS handset is the standard phone for all Bell audio door entry kits and systems with traditional wiring. Traditional wiring is 4 common wires, plus a call wire.

This handset includes a privacy function as standard, which keeps calls private by rendering the other handsets on the system unable to listen in to a call at the entry panel. The mute sliding switch simply mutes the call tone.
