Bell's (BSTL) 801 series handset is installed in thousands of installations in the UK, being one of the most popular handsets available.
This handset includes a privacy function as standard, which keeps calls private by rendering the other handsets on the system unable to listen in to a call at the entry panel. The handset will only stay live for a set period, after which the connection will be closed.
The model 801P handset is included in the standard model 900 and VRK audio door entry systems (more than 10 buttons on the door entry panel) as well as the CS and CSP series of combined keypad and proximity door entry systems. The handset uses traditional wiring which is 4 common wires, plus a call wire.
