The INNOPROX II Slimline card reader is a stylish, robust reader with a strong, impact resistant polycarbonate enclosure which can withstand harsh environments.The Weigand output interfaces with most existing protocol access control systems. The integral ARDREX function allows 2 readers to be connected together on one reader cable for ‘IN’ & ‘OUT’ operation when used with Securefast Entra+ controllers. LED & Buzzer Functions. When a card or fob is presented to the reader, the red LED flashes green and gives a short beep. The multicolour LED and beeper are controlled by the host system. When the BUZZ function is enabled, a built-in 2 second timer allows the buzzer to be used with ‘Free Access Doors’ without the buzzer continuously sounding. Diagnostics On reader power-up, an internal self test routine checks which verifies the setup configuration and determines the internal or external control of the LED and beeper. Reader operation is then started. High Security Recognises card formats up to 90 bits long with unique ID’s.
