The E-Plex 2000 Powerstar, can have up to 100 Users Codes of between 4 & 8 Digits in length, allowing you to give different users their own codes, ideal for a multi occupancy building. The re-lock time can be adjusted from 2 to 20 seconds, if you have users who have mobility difficulty you can allow them extra time to open the Door.
Entry is via the correct code or the unit has a key override facility then with the Lever Handle, while Exit is via the Lever Handle only.
The E-Plex Powerstar Lock has three operating modes, Pin Access, Passage Set (i.e. Free Access, typically used when anyone is allowed through a Door at certain times of the Day ) and Lockout mode when the Keypad does not work.
All the programming is carried out using the keypad so no need for external hand held devices.
The units are non-handed, have a vandal resistant keypad and can be used on wood or metal doors.
