This lock is essentially two 1000-1 locks mounted back to back, regardless of which side of the door you are, you need to enter the code to go through the door.

The 1000 Series lock provides fully mechanical pushbutton access control with no electrical wiring, electronics, or batteries. Exterior access is by combination. Egress is by interior knob and is free at all times. 1000 Series locksets are the best choice for limiting access to high-traffic, security-sensitive areas in commercial, institutional, residential, and industrial buildings. These locks are ideal for locations with a high personnel turnover rate such as data processing centers, employee entrances, R&D labs, apartments, dormitories, and restricted areas in hospitals and airports.

 

• Construction: Heavy-duty cylindrical lock with cast front and back housings; cast knobs
• Numeric Keypad: Vandal resistant, solid metal pushbuttons
• Door Handing: Factory handed for left hand doors; easily field reversible
• Backset: 2 3⁄4” (70 mm)
• Latch: 1⁄2" (13 mm) throw latch, 3⁄4" (19 mm) throw latch (optional)
• Strike: Standard strike plate; ASA strike plate
• Minimum Stile Recommended: 5" (127 mm)
